Dr. Joffe opened his dental practice in 2000. He is dedicated to providing optimum dental care for Punta Gorda and the surrounding communities. The doctor has a strong commitment to provide each and every patient with exceptional dental care, along with patience, communication and compassion. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, Charlotte County Dental Society and has completed curriculum at the Dawson Academy. In addition, he has taken many hours of continuing education courses and strives to be current on the latest dental technologies.
Dr. Joffe grew up on Sanibel Island and has lived in Florida for more than 40 years. He went to Cypress Lake Middle and High School in Fort Myers. He attended the University of Florida for all of his college education receiving a BS in Chemistry and his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1988.
Dr. Joffe has been married to Laurie since 2014 and has 2 children, Ethan and Sydney. He is also an avid plant lover who has a wide variety of tropical plants in his yard. His other interests include photography, traveling and visiting national, state, and local parks to see birds, wildlife and amazing scenery. He also volunteers at the Peace River Wildlife Center and Peace River Botanical Gardens.
Dr. Joffe’s Office Manager, Teresa was born in Florida and grew up in Punta Gorda. Soon after graduating from Charlotte High School she began working in the dental field. She has been with Dr. Joffe since he opened his practice in 2000. Teresa has an excellent rapport with patients and strives to make your dental visit a pleasant experience.
She resides in North Port with her husband, where she is happily raising her daughter and 2 dogs.
Mary was raised in El Jobean and graduated Port Charlotte High School in 1993. From there, she spent three years as a dental assistant in the U.S. Army stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC. Mary returned to Charlotte County afterward to continue a degree in dental hygiene from Edison State College, graduating with honors in 2002, Phi Theta Kappa. In April of 2003, Mary accepted a position with the office of Dr. Joffe that led to a career with people who became as close as family. She loves to work in a practice that continually advances in patient care while maintaining the small, family-feel environment.
When not at work she’s busy living healthy, listening to live music and traveling when possible. Her two college-aged daughters are the greatest pride of her life.
Kate was born and raised here in Southwest Florida and graduated from Charlotte High School. Kate then entered into the dental community and has experience with various roles in the dental office including front desk, dental assisting, and dental hygiene. She earned her Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2017 from Florida South Western State College, a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2019 from St. Petersburg College, and is currently working towards her Masters of Dental Hygiene degree at Old Dominion University. She is also part of American Dental Hygienists’ Association, Florida Dental Hygienists’ Association, American Dental Education Association, and National Dental Practice-Based Network Research. She has served on the Florida South Western State College’s Dental Hygiene Advisory Board since 2018 and on the West Coast Dental Hygienists’ Association Board since 2019. Kate has a great bedside manner, takes pride in her work and really cares for her patients.
In her free time, Kate enjoys being with friends and family and traveling to new places.
Tara was born and raised here in Southwest Florida. She has been working in the dental field as a Dental Lab Technician and Dental Assistant, graduating from Manatee Technical Institute. She hopes to make your dental visit as enjoyable and comfortable as possible and make it a great experience.
Tara enjoys outdoor activities, playing softball and spending time with her son, family and friends.
